International Compliance Certification: International Legal Building Assurance for Modular Houses
In our global layout, ZCS modular houses not only pursue quality but also take becoming a legal building upon completion as the goal. Starting from the source of the supply chain, we have targeted the core certification systems of the United States, Australia, and Canada — U.S. standards including ICC-ES and ICC-NTA, Australia’s CodeMark Australia, and Canada’s CSA. We have achieved full-process certification coverage from raw materials to finished products, ensuring that our products can be used legally and compliantly in the markets of these three countries.
At the supply chain end, we take certification standards as the guidelines for procurement and production: raw materials must be provided with corresponding certification qualifications. For example, aluminum alloy profiles certified to U.S. standards need to be accompanied by material reports recognized by ICC-ES; fire-resistant panels for Australian standards must pass pre-certification of CodeMark Australia; and thermal insulation materials for Canadian standards must comply with the CSA C448 energy efficiency standard.
In the production process, we strictly follow the testing and certification procedures of U.S. standard ICC-NTA, with preset testing nodes according to certification requirements for everything from modular structural strength to electrical system safety. At the same time, we also adapt to the full product evaluation system of Australia’s CodeMark Australia, integrating Australia-specific requirements such as waterproofing and environmental protection into the production line. For instance, the external wall sealing process must pass the preliminary testing of CSA A440.2 (Canadian Waterproofing Test Standard) to avoid rework during subsequent certification.
At the finished product stage, each house must undergo targeted certification testing: For U.S. standards, after evaluation by ICC-ES to confirm compliance with the International Building Code (IBC), an ICC-NTA certification certificate is obtained, ensuring that the product can be directly incorporated into the local building permit process in the U.S. For Australian standards, CodeMark Australia certification is obtained — this certification is the compliance pass for building products in Australia, directly recognizing that the product meets the National Construction Code (NCC) and eliminating the need for repeated reviews by each Australian state. For the Canadian market, CSA certification is obtained, covering aspects such as structural safety (CSA S37) and energy efficiency (CSA A440). After obtaining the certificate, the product can be directly connected to Canadian municipal building approval processes.
From the pre-certification at the source of the supply chain to the finished products passing the authoritative certifications of the three countries, our modular houses avoid compliance risks throughout the entire process. Ultimately, they become legal local buildings upon completion, without the need for customers to coordinate additional certification matters. We have truly achieved compliance at the factory, ready for use upon completion, providing efficient and reliable international certification assurance for projects.
